Yes. We never ask for identifying information beyond your work history. Your name is not stored with your report. The only account identifier we use is a Google OAuth token to prevent spam — it is never displayed publicly or linked to your submissions in any visible way.
Every report goes through our moderation process. Reports with suspicious patterns or insufficient detail are reviewed by our admin team before being published. Multiple reports from different users on the same company or recruiter carry more weight in our system.
Seals are based on aggregated ratings from real users. A company can improve their seal over time by changing their hiring practices — as new positive reports come in, their score updates automatically. They cannot pay to remove or change their seal.
The Impostor seal is assigned to recruiters or job postings that multiple users have flagged as fraudulent, fake, or deceptive. It is only applied after manual review by our admin team.
When submitting a report, check the box that says "Was this recruiter or job posting suspicious?" and fill in the details. Our team will review it and take action if the pattern is confirmed.
Yes. Companies on our Enterprise plan can post an official statement on their company page. They cannot edit or delete user reports — they can only dispute a report for admin review.
We use Google OAuth for secure authentication, Row Level Security on all database tables, and industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We never sell your data.
Free users can file up to 3 reports per month and see the 3 most recent reviews per company. Pro users ($1.99/month or $14.99/year) get unlimited reports, full review history with advanced filters, exact pay figures, watchlists, PDF export, and access to the Impostor recruiter lookup tool.
Each report includes ratings across six categories: Interview Respect & Professionalism, Communication Quality, Response Time, Process Transparency, Job Posting Accuracy, and Overall Fairness. A company's average score across all published reports determines its seal tier. A minimum of 3 reports is required before a seal is assigned — below that, the company shows "Insufficient Data."
